Riggs CAT is pleased to announce our scholarship award winners for 2016. Each student receives a $10,000 scholarship, which is sponsored by the Riggs Scholarship Trust. The Scholarship Program was started in 1987 as a joint effort between the Riggs Benevolent Fund and the Riggs Employee Fund.
The Riggs CAT Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the recipients for 2016. They include:
Grace Anders, daughter of Doug Anders – Little Rock, was awarded the Vance Strange Top Scholar Award. Grace attends Beebe High School and will be attending the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for Pre-Med/Science.
Reese Anders, son of Doug Anders – Little Rock. Reese attends Beebe High School and will be attending Arkansas State University for Physical Therapy and Personal training, in the fall.
Christopher Church, son of Mike Church – Little Rock. Christopher will graduate from Glen Rose High School and plans to attend Southern Arkansas University for Computer Science.
Tyler Hopper, son of David Hopper – Springdale. Tyler will graduate from Gravette High School and plans to attend U of A at Fayetteville for Computer Engineering
College Scholarship Award winners:
Tyler Dianne Platt, step-daughter of Dale Meriweather – Little Rock. Tyler attends the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Supply Chain.
